About This Spot

Perched atop the Perry Lane Hotel in the heart of downtown Savannah, Peregrin delivers a rooftop experience that balances vibrant energy with a quietly refined ambiance. From the moment you step into its open-air space, there’s an inviting calm beneath the buzz of city life — a place to settle in, take in the soft whispers of conversation, and watch the sun dip behind the historic skyline.

The atmosphere here moves at a comfortable, unhurried pace. Thoughtfully designed seating areas offer a mix of cozy conversation pits warmed by flickering fireplaces as well as sleek bar spots perfect for casual mingling. The thoughtful shelter against springtime rain or coastal breezes makes it clear this is a space meant for lingering, no matter the weather.

Drinks at Peregrin feel like part of the story rather than the main event — the kind of cocktails crafted with care, where each sip invites you to pause and appreciate subtle nuances. Frozen cocktails, sparkling pours, and inventive signatures like the Ruby Nectar or elegant orchard-inspired blends echo the season’s changing moods. Alongside these, light bites such as chaat fries or deviled eggs complement the drinks without fuss, encouraging shared moments rather than rushed dining.

Whether you’re visiting to catch the soft glow of sunset over Savannah’s rooftops or seeking an evening refuge filled with gentle light and gentle laughter, Peregrin offers a sense of belonging. It’s a rooftop bar that quietly earns its place on your list not because of flash or noise, but through genuine warmth, thoughtful design, and those inviting human moments that linger long after last call.

Visited 3+ times so far in 2025. This rooftop bar is located at the top of the Perry Lane hotel in downtown Savannah, GA. Service is excellent, and the bartenders pride themselves on quality drinks (they checked in with us on taste + quality). I was a fan of their mint drink. We’ve had some of their small plates, which are worth getting (or hold off and go downstairs to the hotel restaurant for an awesome experience). The views of Savannah from this rooftop bar are some of the best we’ve seen. Highly suggest you pay this spot a visit.

I did not eat here, simply stopped by for a Pimm’s Cup. The location is a lovely rooftop bar and worth stopping by for the views. The location is tastefully designed and has gas heaters for added ambiance.

Among other things, I was told I needed to have rooftop drinks at sunset during my visit to Savannah. Peregrin was suggested by a few folks and it was walking distance from my hotel. There were pop-up showers just before I decided to walk over and I wasn't sure if they'd be open. There are some covered areas and I was told the bar remains open unless there's lightening. There's lots of space on the rooftop and I suppose it was easy for me to get a spot to look out over the city because of the rain earlier. The bartenders were very attentive and because it was dark and stormy earlier, I ordered a dark and stormy. And as a self proclaimed expert, it passed the test. I also thought, or assumed, they had small bites; but maybe they're available a little early.

I went around 1:00 on a Saturday, they weren’t very busy which was great - I got the frose, and a salad. Well, 2 froses because they were so good! Service, view, and food/drink were all on point!

The Peregrin Rooftop at the Perry Lane Hotel is an awesome place to grab a drink while taking in a great view of Savannah. The atmosphere is welcoming and the vibe is cool whether you are sitting at the bar (which is beautiful) or sitting at one of the booths/conversation pits that come complete with a fireplace feature. The place was recommended to us by our server at The Collins Quarter (another Savannah gem and must visit) and my wife and I have been twice now, once at night and once in the late afternoon. Both were great. Richard, our bartender during our most recent visit, was welcoming, knowledgeable and makes a nice craft cocktail. Richard also made recommendations of other places to visit and was just a solid friendly bartender/host during our time at The Peregrin. Thanks, Richard. We had just eaten at Sorry Charlie's prior to our visit, but the food we saw come out of the kitchen looked appealing and worth trying. We'll definitely be back.

This rooftop bar is an absolute gem! The views are unbeatable, giving the perfect backdrop whether you’re catching the sunset or enjoying the city lights at night. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed – chic enough for a night out but still comfortable and welcoming. The drinks were top-notch – creative cocktails with balanced flavors, served quickly and beautifully presented. The bartenders clearly know their craft and were happy to make recommendations. We also ordered some food and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the drinks. On top of that, the service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a place with great energy, delicious cocktails, and stunning views, this rooftop bar is a must-visit.
